"He was an incredibly kind and bright man, he loved life and was able to really enjoy every day," - recalls his best friend, 27-year-old Jaromir Shevtsiv. 31-year-old Petro Yakymiv from the village of Staryi Mylyatyn in the Lviv region died on March 30 in battles near Popasna in the Luhansk region. His relatives could not contact him for more than a week, they searched for him through volunteers until they were told terrible news ...
"There he was a soldier in the assault brigade. At first they served near Bucha, defeated a detachment of Kadyrovites who attacked the city. It was very difficult, the shelling of the orcs almost did not stop. But Sasha did not complain about anything. He said that everything was fine, - the father of the Hero remembers. - Then the soldiers served in Guta-Mykhailivska in the Kyiv region, near Vyshhorod. The day before, enemy drones were flying over the place where my son and his brothers were. They were tracked down ... And on the morning of March 14, the battle began, the son managed to destroy a lot of enemy equipment and enemy personnel. But the latter covered with "hail" and Alexander died on the battlefield.

Andriy Nikonchuk from Volodymyr-Volynskyi in Volyn served on a contract basis in the anti-aircraft missile regiment. On February 24, he was on combat duty near the city of Vyshhorod and, together with his comrades, covered the Kyiv HPP, an important strategic site. When enemy aircraft approached the anti-aircraft positions, they entered the battle. The aviation did not impress the Ukrainian positions. But soon the enemies decided to fire missiles at them. One of them exploded at the position of anti-aircraft gunners. Soldier Nikonchuk, who was engaged in combat operations to detect air targets until his last breath, died.
A native of the village of Berezets in the Lviv region, he died in an unequal battle with the occupiers near Volnovakha. The 503rd Battalion under the command of Pavel Sbytov took the main blow of three battalion tactical groups of the Russian Federation. Captain Oleksandr Korpan died while performing a combat mission in Starokostiantyniv in the Khmelnytsky region. He served in Nikolaev in the 299th brigade of tactical aviation named after General Vasily Nikiforov. He was the commander of the aviation squadron of this brigade. Alexander grew up in a military family in Sevastopol. His father was a pilot, so he dreamed of this profession. President Zelensky posthumously awarded him the title of Hero of Ukraine.
